SOR introduces a Remote Well Monitoring System developed and built by SENSOR featuring products introduced by SOR during OTC 2016

Offshore Technology Conference logo

(Lenexa, Kansas, USA – April 28, 2016) – The growing SOR Controls Group family of brands will be presented in booth #8605 at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas on May 2.

The SENSOR brand offers a SCADA alternative with their Remote Well Monitoring System (RWMS). Where SCADA systems are often provided independent of measuring and control equipment (which is then sourced from third parties), a SENSOR solution empowers users to interface with a single entity capable of providing a true turnkey solution. Come to the show and see the SENSOR RWMS. It consists of a RTD with thermowell, 815DT smart differential pressure transmitter with 5-valve manifold, 815PT smart pressure transmitter, magnetostrictive level transmitter and 1100 series magnetic level indicator with patent pending vista™ technology.

SOR booth #8605 will also have a demo of the 1400 series control (dump) valve and the 1600 series level controller shown in a working example of a separator. The 1450 close-coupled control valve and 1601 level controller are used in tandem to measure and control the liquid level, a 1267AFR is used to regulate pneumatic air pressure to the level controller, and two 1510 compact level switches are used as high and low safety shutoff switches. Visitors to the SOR Controls Group booth can expect a hands-on first look at these new products.
