Each year, inspectors from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) set up camp at SOR Inc. It’s their job to make certain that our manufacturing processes meet stringent goals for product quality and employee safety. SOR has earned the ISO9001:2008 certification each year for the past decade. ISO certification ensures that we’re doing things right for our employees while creating the highest quality products for our customers.
SOR also regularly undergoes nuclear audits by NUPIC, NIAC and TSSA (CSA M 285.0) and is proud to say that we have completed those audits without a major finding. And even though the USA quality standards and audits are generally accepted by the majority of nuclear power producers, SOR routinely welcomes independent audits to other international standards.
