SOR® Names Northeast Regional Manager

SOR Inc. is proud to announce Peter Collins as its Northeast Regional Sales Manager. He joins the company from GE Sensing where he was a Sales Engineer. GE Sensing is a global leader in the manufacture of sensing elements, instruments and systems that monitor, protect and control critical processes in the petrochemical, pharmaceutical and municipal industries.

During his career Peter has served in the roles of Regional Manager, Sales Engineer and Automated Products Manager as well as an Inside Salesperson for a variety of industrial and process manufacturing companies.

An Air Force veteran and self-titled army brat, Peter has lived and traveled all over the world until settling in New Jersey . He earned a BA degree in psychology from Rutgers University in Brunswick, New Jersey and is a Senior Member and Past President of ISA-Princeton Section and a member of ISPE and AWWA, New Jersey chapters.

“I'm excited about Peter joining the SOR team,” says Jeff Coltvet , SOR Vice President of Sales. “He has great experience working in many of the industries served by SOR and has excelled in building productive relationships with customers and distributor / representative organizations. In addition he is well-known in the Northeast region and will be able to hit the ground running.”

Peter makes his home in Jackson , New Jersey where he enjoys bicycling and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He says, “I'm looking forward to joining the SOR family. It's a good company with a respected reputation and I'm very impressed with the people I've met. I look forward to working with the Reps in the Northeast region and helping them sell SOR products in any way I can.”

The Northeast region consists of the New England states, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, parts of Illinois, Iowa, North and South Dakota and Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Canada .
