Lenexa, KS – [February 2025] – SOR Controls Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Nieto as Vice President of Finance. Daniel brings 17 years of experience as a senior finance and business leader, with a strong background in public and private family-owned organizations.
Daniel’s career began with the United States Army, as a Sergeant in Human Resources and Infantry. He later transitioned into corporate finance, joining Ernst & Young, LLP as a Staff Associate and quickly advancing to Senior Associate. His financial expertise continued to develop through roles at Magnetar Capital, LLC, Mead Johnson Nutrition, and Capri Capital Partners, LLC.
Most recently, Daniel spent five years at Motorola Solutions, Inc., where he was North America Cash Manager before being promoted to Financial Controller for Professional Commercial Radios. His extensive experience in financial strategy, corporate accounting, and leadership makes him a valuable addition to the SOR Controls Group executive team.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Campbell University and a Master of Business Administration in Corporate Finance from DePaul University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Daniel will report directly to Linda Dunlap, Chairman of the Board, and will play a key role in driving the company’s financial strategy and growth.
