The 2700 Series ULS is a single- or dual-point level switch that utilizes ultrasonic wave technology to detect the presence or absence of liquid at a specific point in a tank or vessel. Using a crystal pair within each sensor gap – one for transmitting and one for receiving – the device detects the level by analyzing the attenuation of the ultrasonic signal. When liquid is present, attenuation is reduced, triggering the relay output to signal the user-defined condition.
