Houston, Texas – March, 2025 – SENSOR Sampling Systems, today announces the release of two new Cationic Resin Columns: the SEN-CR-600 and SEN-CR-1600. These new Resin Columns are designed and engineered with optimal geometry and materials to provide the ideal solution for performing cation exchange processes.
The SEN-CR-600 and SEN-CR-1600 cationic resin columns are engineered to deliver consistent, dependable performance in demanding industrial environments. By converting salts in the sample stream to their corresponding acids, the columns enable precise downstream measurement of trace contaminants, helping operators maintain strict water chemistry control and protect high-value equipment.
Both models are designed for easy integration into existing sampling systems and provide reliable operation in power plants, industrial boilers, and other high-purity water applications.
Key benefits of the new cationic resin columns include:
- Constructed of clear polycarbonate tubes (no PVC)
- Screw caps on both sides make filling and emptying easy
- Response time 4 to 5 minutes (for a flow rate of 200 cc / min)
- Saturation indicated by color change
- Regenerated with 5% HCl solution
The SEN-CR-600 provides an efficient solution for systems requiring a compact column with dependable performance, while the SEN-CR-1600 offers increased resin capacity for applications requiring extended service intervals and higher sample flow demands.
