The 50-minute episode, titled “Building a Brand from the Inside Out,” is hosted by Jaci and Michael of brandRUSSO, a branding agency whose podcast covers brand strategy for B2B and industrial companies.
In the episode, Herl discusses her 25-plus years building and leading SOR’s marketing function from scratch. She covers how SOR manages a house of brands across its three product lines, SOR Measurement and Control, SSi Temperature Sensors, and SENSOR Sampling Systems, and how internal brand education supports customer-facing marketing. She also addresses strategic planning systems, cross-functional alignment with finance, and the role of people in differentiating an industrial manufacturer.
