(Lenexa, KS – July 2026) – SOR Controls Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Energy Equipment LLC as its newest manufacturer’s representative serving the state of Michigan, excluding the Upper Peninsula.
A second-generation company with deep roots in the Michigan industrial market, Energy Equipment recently transitioned leadership from founder Dennis Norrod to his son, Greg Norrod. The company employs three team members and invests in growth opportunities as it expands its presence across multiple industrial sectors. While Energy Equipment has historically focused on the oil and gas industry, the company has broadened its efforts to support additional markets served by SOR Controls Group.
Energy Equipment will represent SOR Controls Group’s portfolio of solutions, including SOR Measurement & Control and SSi Temperature Sensors, serving customers in oil & gas, chemical & petrochemical, power generation, nuclear power, and water & wastewater industries.
