Lenexa, KS (August 19) SOR Controls Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Blake Sutton as Gulf Coast Regional Manager. In this role, Blake will be responsible for supporting SOR customers and representative network throughout the Gulf Coast region while helping drive continued growth for the company’s portfolio of process instrumentation solutions.
Blake joins SOR with experience in project management, inside sales and industrial instrumentation. Prior to joining SOR, he worked for a manufacturer’s representative and distributor of industrial instrumentation and process-control equipment, where Blake provided project management and inside sales support for customers across West Texas and the Rocky Mountain region. During his time gained experience working with a broad range of instrumentation technologies and manufacturers.
“Blake brings a solid combination of instrumentation knowledge, project experience and an understanding of the rep channel that will serve him well in this role,” said Erwin Brocato, North American Regional Manager for SOR Controls Group. “He understands the importance of being responsive to both our representatives and our customers, and we believe he will be a strong resource for the Gulf Coast region as we continue to grow our presence in this important market.”
As Gulf Coast Regional Manager, Blake will work closely with SOR Controls Group’s representative network and customers to identify opportunities, provide application and product support, and strengthen the company’s presence throughout the region.
Blake is a graduate of Texas Tech University. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, hunting and golfing.
