SENSOR Sampling Systems is now offering bottles, caps and septa that can be purchased separately or as a fully assembled set. These are essential components of sampling systems that are used to transport liquid samples from the processing units to the laboratory without exposing the operator or being released to the environment.
“A bottle, cap and septum are an essential component of a sampling system as ink is to a printer. One does not work without the other,” said SENSOR Sampling System Product Manager, Billy Terry. “Providing these necessary components as direct replacements allows SENSOR to be a one-stop shop for all of your sampling system needs.”
The cap and septum material are punched in-house in order to perform well with the typical needle systems found in industrial closed-loop sampling. Laboratory supplied caps are generally punched with holes too small to accommodate industrial needle systems, and the septum material is usually too thin and easily damaged during use with industrial sampling systems. At SENSOR Sampling, the resealability of the septum material has been carefully selected to balance damage to the septum and containment of the collected sample.
