Chris Batsch, Jessica Robin and Weston Shoemaker are the latest additions to the SOR Inside Sales Team.
Chris Batsch is the Sales Support Engineer for the region of Western North America. Chris has worked with Eaton and Black & Veatch gaining electrical design and manufacturing experience. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. While in school, Chris interned with the Army Corps of Engineers and did a side project with Sphero, the company that was involved with the design of BB-8 Droid for a Star Wars movie.
Jessica Robin is the Sales Support Engineer for the Middle East and India. Jessica comes with a wide range of experience. She has worked as a Test Supervisor for Pentair, a Project Engineer at Northrop Grumman and at two consulting firms which include Wilson & Company for water, oil and gas, and QSPEC Solutions for pharmaceutical automation. Jessica has also provided solutions in the biomedical field with both BD Medical and Children’s Mercy Hospital. She is a graduate from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Weston Shoemaker takes on the role of Project Engineer for Mechanical Level Projects. He replaces, 24- year veteran Vicky Hogue. Before joining SOR, Weston worked as a research assistant in the field of catalysis for production of alternative fuel sources. He is a graduate from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. During Weston’s undergraduate studies, he worked as a Project Management Intern for a manufacturer’s representative.
