The history of SOR Inc. is founded on simple ideas that work – and they work for a very long time. It all began in 1956 with the invention of the static o-ring (SOR) pressure switch. Since the ring is static, there is no friction, and no wear and tear.
Today’s SOR® products are descendents of that original static o-ring, with minimal moving parts for unmatched quality, reliability and durability. We now manufacture nearly one hundred process instruments that are used in a variety of applications such as power generation, oil and gas, cement and water treatment.
