Need a unique product for a unique application? SOR has an award-winning machine shop that can build it from scratch. Need to turn an idea into reality? SOR has a full staff of engineers ready to assist. Need a transmitter or wireless device? Yes, we do that, too.
SOR is a global leader in the field of measurement and control. One big reason for the continued growth of SOR is our willingness to listen to our customers’ specific needs and develop solutions to meet those needs for the Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Nuclear industries. In fact many of the products we deliver are specially engineered to order.
SOR manufactures a wide variety of mechanical and electronic devices to measure pressure, level, temperature and flow – and we’re working constantly to improve our product platform. A solid state switch has been added to the 805PT electronic transmitter to create the new 805QS electronic pressure switch. Featuring all of the qualities of the 805PT, the 805QS offers a switch output in addition to a continuous signal. The 805QS is a compact, loop powered pressure switch suitable for hazardous locations and hostile environments where space is limited. Additional products continue to be developed that integrate features such as wireless and HART technologies.
All of our products are engineered and manufactured at SOR world headquarters located in Lenexa, Kansas. SOR also maintains branch offices in Beijing and London. Our global presence is confirmed by the fact that 65% of all the products we build are exported outside North America.
Many standard products must be re-designed to fit the individual needs of our customers. With SOR offices and Representatives situated around the globe, you get the product you need with off-the-shelf speed.
