Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist works closely with the Vice President of Human Resources in managing full cycle recruiting, as well as administering policies, procedures, benefits, and achieving the objectives of the Human Resources Department and SOR.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- 2–3 years related experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage the full cycle recruiting process: tracking hiring processes from job requisitions, posting job openings, setting up interviews, following up with candidates, sending offer letters, and initiating all background checks.
- Assist with the interview process; track status of candidates in HRIS.
- Assist in the administration of benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Complete Forms I-9, verify documentation, and maintain I-9 files.
- Manage the onboarding process for all new employees.
- Facilitate and lead company activities and events.
- File documents into appropriate employee files.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIORNMENT

The role involves sitting, standing, walking, reaching outward, and performing fine motor tasks throughout the day. Employees will also occasionally need to bend, squat, or kneel, and may occasionally reach above shoulder level. Climbing and crawling are not required.
The position occasionally requires lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling light materials. Employees must be able to:
- Lift/Carry up to 10 lbs occasionally.
- Push/Pull up to 12 lbs occasionally.
Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when in manufacturing areas, including safety glasses. Steel-toed safety shoes or boots, respirators, and ear protection are not required for this position. The work environment includes exposure to moderate noise levels typical of an office and manufacturing setting.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Sets up, operates, and maintains CNC lathe machines to support machining operations at SOR Controls Group.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathes and multi-axis machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of material (BOM), and bills of operations (BOO).
- Perform inspections of machined components using precision gauge equipment and validate first-article production.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machine tools and tooling systems.
- Identify and resolve issues related to tooling, machine function, raw materials, and part quality.
- Adjust or modify CNC programs as needed to meet production and quality standards.
- Perform manual machining tasks as required.
- Develop and implement machining processes, including CNC programming, tooling, work holding, process documentation, and validation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and apply them to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Understand and support the use of automation and integration with machining operations.
- Maintain safe work practices and follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Participate in cross-functional problem-solving as it relates to quality, performance, or process improvement.
- All other functions/responsibilities assigned by manager.
- Comply with all company policies and standards.

This position requires regular work on the production floor in a machine shop environment, where exposure to dust, oils, moderate-to-high noise levels, and varying temperatures is common. Employees must also wear required PPE, such as safety glasses and steel-toed footwear, at all times in designated areas.
Employees must be able to:
- Stand, walk, handle/finger materials, reach outward, and reach above shoulder level frequently (up to 66% of the time).
- Occasionally climb, squat/kneel, bend, or crawl (up to 33% of the time).
- Lift or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. and push/pull items weighing up to 50 lbs., occasionally to frequently depending on task.
- Use precision tools, measurement devices, and standard CNC equipment.
- Wear required PPE including safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection as needed.

Job Title: Weld Supervisor

SUMMARY
The Weld Supervisor assists the Focused Factory Manager in ensuring that the logistics associated with safety, quality and production are maintained in the assigned weld bays.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- 10 years of continued growth in Welding.
- Level 3 inspector or CWI required.
- Must have ASME Section 9 / AWS knowledge and experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for the scheduling of work to achieve the objectives of SQDIP.
- Determine the correct measures and resources needed to efficiently move product through weld.
- Must be able to perform MIG and Tig welding on standard and exotic materials.
- Ensures the execution of the training plan for personnel as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Proficient in use and training of the related operating procedures (i.e., ISO Procedures, Design Drawings, Work Instructions, etc.).
- Assign personnel to specific jobs based on qualifications and abilities.
- Ensures the work center is organized and ready for the next day’s production.
- Identify and report problems with equipment function, parts, and raw materials to the applicable resource.
- Proactively implements and sustains lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
