Final Assembler
- Reports to Focus Factory Manager
SUMMARY
Final Assemblers responsibilities include kitting, building and final calibration of level units in the final assembly.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 – 3 years related experience
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Basic Math: ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, decimals, and metric system.
- Basic computer skills/Microsoft office
- Ability to read measurements.
- To be able to Use power tools, hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Able to read BOM’s, BOO’s and blueprints.
- Follow standard work documents and ISO procedures.
- Ability to follow standard work and ISO procedures.
- Work from a bill of material (BOM) and bill of operations (BOO)
- Keep work areas clean and orderly.
- Ability to communicate with supporting departments.
- Functions and responsibilities assigned by the supervisors.
Final Assembler 2
- All the above essential duties and required skills.
- Work with application Engineer on special calibrations
- Pre-calibration, read special calibrating sheets.
- Ability to troubleshoot and recommend solutions for calibration problems.
- Ability to set up and operate hydro stand in a safe manner.,
- Daily duties may include sandblasting and maintenance of sandblasting equipment.
Final Assembler 3
- All the above essential duties and required skills.
- Ability to train new employees.
- Supervise and assign workloads to department employees based on skill sets.
- Knowledge of operating system (Infor).
- Ability to maintain inventory/cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Complies with all policies and standards.

Pressure Assembler
- Reports to Focus Factory Manager
SUMMARY
The position of Assembler builds, mounts, calibrates, closes and prepares units for shipping in the Pressure Department.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED
- 6-12 months related experience and/or training preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pre-calibration, read special calibrating sheets.
- Read ISO procedures and blueprints.
- Knowledge of all model options
- Knowledge of torque wrench charts
- Work with application Engineer on special calibrations
- Communication with Sub-Weld, Sub-Assembly, and Quality Control
- Read and follow Job Orders to fill orders and pull parts.
- Assemble using drill press, screw drivers, torque wrenches and hammers.
- Build switches per Job Order.
- Calibrate every switch using a test stand.
- Put covers on switches and scale the inside.
- Close orders in computer and send to shipping or End of Line inspection.
- Organize inventory and understand how it works.
- Adhere to guidelines and procedures proscribed by ISO 9001.
- All other functions/responsibilities assigned by the manager.
- Complies with all policies and standards.

ProE/CAD Designer
- Reports to Engineering Manager
SUMMARY
Under the direction and supervision of the VP of Engineering, adheres to the policies and procedures of SOR, Inc. and to the guidelines and procedures as prescribed by ISO 9001. Primary function is to support the engineering staff in the preparation and release of documentation for new products and changes to existing designs for manufacturing. Performs related tasks to support other departments as needed and cooperates to establish close working relationships with co-workers of all departments. Utilizes engineering CAD software and the company’s business system software to complete job tasks. Attends meetings and in services. Works hours required to meet project deadlines.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school education plus additional training equals two years college specializing in industrial manufacturing design/drafting.
- Minimum of three years’ experience working with engineers in the development, documentation, and introduction of new products into the manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical – Three years of CAD solids modeling. Preferably Pro/Engineer and PTC Windchill.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates preliminary and final production drawings of machined parts, castings, and assemblies with input from engineering staff. Uses various industrial standards, studies data from numerous sources and utilizes knowledge of drafting practices and mathematics to complete the drawings.
- Prepares documentation of special product as required by the customer from data supplied by Sales/Marketing and with input from engineering staff.
- Collaborates with the necessary organizational functions to organize and set-up product assembly and sub assembly levels for BOM structure.
- Creates and maintains the product configurator, bills-of-material, and part master file records so that proper inventory allocation / relief and accurate product costing can occur.
- Coordinates, organizes, and prepares documentation of engineering orders for new product designs and changes to existing products.
- Checks and reviews final engineering orders for accuracy and completeness and that they are in compliance with design input specifications.
- Creates drawings for product catalogs and technical data sheets.
- Adheres to guidelines and procedures as prescribed by ISO 9001.
- Adheres to safety measures and other personnel policies.
- Performs additional related tasks as necessary in supporting the SOR products.
- All other functions/responsibilities assigned by the manager.
