(Lenexa, Kansas USA-January 24, 2023) The Measurement Control and Automation Association (MCAA) has elected and certified SOR Controls Group Vice President of Marketing, Michelle Herl, to serve as Director at Large for 2023.
As a Director, Michelle will serve the interests of both SOR Controls Group and the manufacturing industry by helping define member services that will meet the needs of organizations.
“There are more than 170 member organizations and I am excited to help with new growth initiatives to take MCAA to the next level,” said Herl.
The Board advises staff on strategic and operational issues such as finances, budgets, dues, membership programs, and member retention/recruitment.
“I was delighted that Ms. Herl accepted the Board nomination. I have had the pleasure of working with Michelle on various meeting presentations and events over her tenure with MCAA,” said MCAA President, Teresa Sebring. “Her industry expertise and leadership will be invaluable to the Association.”

With a tenure of 23 years at SOR Controls Group, Herl participates in strategic company direction, product and sales channel development, corporate branding, and communications as Vice President of Marketing.
Herl holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University and a Master of Business Administration from Mid America Nazarene University.
