Explosion Proof Differential Pressure Switches

Process instrumentation industry standards define devices rated “explosion proof” as those with an enclosure capable of withstanding an explosion of a specified gas, vapor or dust which may occur within it. They contain sparks, flashes, heat or explosion within the enclosure and prevent ignition of the surrounding area. Agency listings are required in order to market the device as “explosion proof.”
